We are currently seeking an accurate, experienced, and detail-oriented Accountant to join our rapidly growing company. In this role, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks including accounts receivable/payable, ledger reconciliation, expense reporting, and audit support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate accuracy, professionalism, and a strong commitment to maintaining our firm’s reputation for excellence.
Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in-person
Generate and manage billing statements and financial reports
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual audits
Review and approve employee expense reports
Reconcile general ledger accounts regularly
Contribute to forecasting and budget planning sessions
Ensure full compliance with federal and provincial accounting regulations
Support the Senior Accountant and collaborate across departments
Maintain high standards of client service and confidentiality
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
Minimum 1 year of experience as an accountant or bookkeeper in a corporate setting
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
Strong analytical and numerical skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license
Experience with corporate and personal tax filing
Familiarity with inventory-based businesses
Prior experience with audits and budgeting
